Who We Are

BACKGROUND

LIFT Uganda (LIFTUg) is a behavioral change organization aimed at improving development performance in Uganda. Human development was and is still the driving factor to the establishment of LIFT Uganda as an organization.

As your partner in human behavioral change, we offer effective performance monitoring consultancy services and other capacity development services to our program partners at household level, community social structures like school(s) or education structures, churches, community grass-root groups, and National plus International Development Funding Partners.

Our performance tasks greatly contribute to the improvement of services through quality information sharing for timely decision making among stakeholders.

HISTORY

The Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Davis who has worked on various development project under various organizations has had a zeal to contribute to the reduction of vulnerability among the communities in Uganda and through his continued interactions with these communities he has been offering intervention monitoring and evaluation based solutions to community organizations and this has been resulting in improved performances. With these acquired skills since 2000, he decided to start as an independent individual consultant in the field of project monitoring and evaluation and later joined with a team of people doing the same kind of related work to form an organization that can help lift Uganda’s performance in various development sectors, hence LIFT Uganda is establishment from the Humanitarian Effort to Lift Performance in projects concept that was started in 2010 under a consultancy assignment.
